Let’s not kid ourselves, the whole Libingan Ng Mga Bayani issue IS about Aquino vs Marcos and that is the whole truth. Stop diluting the issue that this is about the nation and it’s quest for justice. We had thirty years to claim that justice and the only person to blame for this fiasco is former President Benigno Aquino III.

Yes, we recognize that there have been victims during Martial Law but Noynoying was the reason why we are all in this situation. Perhaps it’s his frequent playstation habit or his privileged life of being distant to the common folk, but he failed to fix this issue and now he and his yellow army are trying to pin the blame on President Rodrigo Duterte.

First point, the whole hero issue has been acknowledged in 2011 by no other than his spokesperson Abigail Valte. Read this http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/story/217569/news/nation/palace-sees-no-issue-in-marcos-inclusion-in-afp-hall-of-heroes and see how even the Aquino administration.

Aside from writing down the accolades Marcos received, she added that “These awards continue to be on the official roster of awards of the AFP. Until otherwise revoked, the awardees continue to receive appropriate recognition.”

“Philippine awards remain post-war conferments during the time Marcos began his public life up to his being a Senate President.”

So if she recognizes that Marcos was a hero, it means that she admits that her yellow boss also knows that the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani was indeed an option for Marcos was

  1. A Soldier
  2. A Former President.

So why did I enumerate those? Because these two basic qualifications will allow the burial of Marcos at the LNMB.

Granted that the atrocities of Marcos were so grave, Noynoy could have put out an order and prevented Macoy at the LNMB and forced the Marcos family to bury him in Ilocos Norte.

So what happened? Well according to former Vice President Jojo Binay, Noynoy Aquino missed this opportunity in 2011. In this article (http://www.rappler.com/nation/143276-binay-camp-aquino-failed-proposal-bury-marcos-ilocos), Binay’s camp said that “The Aquino administration missed an opportunity to lay the Marcos burial issue to rest when it did not act on former VP Binay’s recommendation made as early as 2011 to allow the burial of Marcos in Batac, Ilocos Norte”

It was April of that year as well when Noynoy tasked Binay to study where Marcos should be buried. When Binay recommended the burial in Batac, well, Aquino may have been focused on his Playstation and seemed to have forgotten.

Typical Noynoy if you ask me. Set aside things and important decisions and blame other people after. It is because of Aquino that we are in this mess and blaming Duterte who has made clear of his intentions during the campaign, means that the people has given him mandate to make this decision.

Even the Supreme Court ruled on the legality of the burial. A simple Executive Order could have sufficed but I guess gaming was a preferable activity from 2010-2016 of the whole Aquino presidency.
